Crawford UK Global Technical Services concludes year of growth with further recruitment planned for 2013

London – Crawford UK Global Technical Services (GTS®) is concluding a year of significant growth with 16 high-quality appointments and the creation of a new Aviation team.

The specialist adjusting division is coming off the back of two of its busiest ever years, supporting domestic and international (re)insurers after catastrophes in New Zealand, Japan, Thailand and Chile and more recently Superstorm Sandy across America’s Atlantic coast.

Now, as a demonstration of its continued commitment to all markets, Crawford GTS has appointed a further seven individuals to its Corporate and Major Incident Team, two adjusters in its International Construction Team and a further surveying expert has joined the Marine department.

In addition, Crawford GTS is delighted to announce the acceleration of the continued growth of its dedicated Aviation team with six adjusters joining to provide customers with genuine expertise and scale from day one.

“These are key strategic appointments and with further recruitment planned, Crawford GTS is hoping to display a clear message to its customers around the world,” says Sarah Civil, Managing Director, Global Technical Services.

“2013 promises further investment in our most valuable asset, the people on whom insurers and reinsurers rely. The Aviation market is an increasingly important sector for (re)insurers as global fleets expand, and the individuals joining Crawford GTS are well known for their expertise.  Meanwhile, our Corporate and Major Incident Team has grown steadily and these seven appointments demonstrate our desire to continually add talent to our pool.” she added.

Sarah also points to the next generation of adjusters. “We are always interested in bringing well qualified adjusters to Crawford GTS® but I’m particularly pleased to be able to emphasise our continued investment in youth. The company’s Graduate Training Scheme will bring in more recruits during 2013 to supplement the intakes of previous years and I look forward to welcoming them all.”
